Things to know
Minimum age is 7. You must wear a helmet and PFD and be able to follow instructions and move on rocky, uneven ground; helmet fit is up to 62 cm head circumference and PFD fit is up to a 56-inch chest. Arrive 15 minutes before your start time; late arrivals may not be accommodated and are not refunded.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 30 days before your trip date, a $10 per person cancellation fee is retained. If you cancel 30 days or less before your trip date, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip. Reservations are transferable to another person but not another date. In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, customers receive a full refund or credit.
FAQs
Registration takes place at 7 Main St. in Charlemont, MA. Park in the unpaved lot, then go up the stairs to the kiosk outside the red building; guides will direct you to the appropriate pavilion.
You are required to wear sneakers or other shoes that can be secured to your feet. Flip-flops and Crocs are not allowed.
Expect everything you bring on the raft to get wet. In cooler weather, wool and synthetic layers (polypropylene, nylon, fleece) are recommended. Avoid cotton, as it will keep you cold and wet throughout the trip.
